Sikkra
Pre-launch
Moneypool + GLD, one platform

A savings circle and a gold currency, made honest again.

Sikkra pairs a transparent rotating savings circle with a digital currency backed gram-for-gram by physical gold, built from the ground up with no riba, no gharar, and no maysir.

This page previews a platform in active development. Nothing here moves real money or real gold yet.

What Sikkra is

Two Islamic finance traditions, rebuilt for a phone.

Sikkra isn't one product. It's two, sharing a single wallet. Save collectively through Moneypool, or hold value in GLD, a currency you can actually touch.

Pillar One

Moneypool

A modern rotating savings circle (the same idea as an arisan, hui, or committee fund) for 50 people at a time. Everyone contributes the same amount every fortnight; each member takes exactly one full payout during the round. Positions are assigned at random and kept private, so nobody can angle for a better turn.

50 members / pool 3% wakalah fee Every 14 days
Pillar Two

GLD: Allocated Physical Gold

A digital currency priced against live gold and backed at least 1:1 by audited physical reserves. Buy, send, and spend GLD like cash across the app, then redeem any balance for real bullion or coins whenever you want it in your hand.

≥100% reserve, enforced Redeemable for real gold No yield, ever
How it works

Two flows, the same discipline: nothing moves until you've seen it.

Every step below exists in the working demo, including the confirmation screen that shows your exact amount before anything is committed.

Moneypool, cycle by cycle

01
Join a poolPick a contribution tier. You're placed at a random, private position among 50 members.
02
Contribute every fortnightPay your share on schedule. Pools run continuously, so a slow member never stalls anyone else's turn.
03
Take your turnOnce per 50-cycle round, the pool's full contribution (minus a disclosed 3% wakalah fee) lands in your Payout Balance.
04
Put it to workWithdraw it, convert it straight into GLD, or reinvest into Platform Investor Tokens for a share of platform performance, locked for a minimum of 3 years, with no fixed return.

GLD, transaction by transaction

01
Buy at live NAVExchange fiat (or a Moneypool payout) for GLD. The wakalah fee and exact amount are shown before you confirm.
02
Send or spendPay a friend, a merchant, or send remittance abroad. Fees are disclosed up front, on every single transfer.
03
Watch the reserveEvery GLD in circulation is checked against gold actually held in vault, published live, never allowed under 100%.
04
Redeem, or give ZakatConvert GLD into physical bullion or coins any time, or opt in to calculate and pay Zakat, split across the 8 Asnaf.
Why it's different

Not a chit fund with an app. Not a stablecoin with a prayer.

Sikkra sits between three things people already know, and does each one differently on purpose.

A savings circle
The usual wayRuns on trust and a notebook. One missed payment can collapse the whole group, and pools often stall while they wait to fill.
Sikkra MoneypoolEvery contribution and payout is logged automatically. Positions are randomly assigned and hidden from everyone, including the organizer.
A crypto token
The usual wayValue comes from fiat reserves, algorithms, or plain demand. Most holders can never redeem for anything physical.
Sikkra GLDValue comes from grams of gold sitting in a vault. Every token is redeemable for real bullion or coins, with no yield or leverage to speak of.
A bank account
The usual wayPays or charges interest either way. Fees are bundled and hard to see, and Zakat is entirely on you to work out.
SikkraA disclosed wakalah fee instead of interest, shown before every transaction. Zakat has a built-in, opt-in calculator across the 8 Asnaf.
An investment app
The usual wayPromises smooth or fixed-sounding returns, and lock-up terms (if any) sit buried in the fine print.
Sikkra Investor TokensNo fixed return, ever. You share in real platform performance, gains or none. The mandatory 3-year lock-up is shown before you buy, not after.
No riba, gharar, or maysir Reserve ratio ≥100%, always Zakat is opt-in, never automatic Every fee shown before you confirm
Try it yourself

See the whole flow, not a pitch deck.

This links to the actual working prototype, the same one used to design and test every screen on this page.

  • Buy, send, and redeem GLD, with the exact amount confirmed before anything commits
  • Join a Moneypool, make a contribution, and run a fortnightly payout cycle
  • Calculate and pay Zakat, and watch the live Proof-of-Reserve panel move
A working prototype, not connected to real money or gold yet.
Honesty first

We're not ready to launch. Here's exactly why.

Sikkra is a working prototype, not a live financial product. Before anyone's real money or real gold touches this system, all of the following has to happen.

Built and working today

  • Full Moneypool + GLD wallet, with contribution, payout, buy, send, redeem, and Zakat flows
  • Wakalah fee disclosed at every step, on both products
  • ≥100% reserve-ratio enforcement logic and a live Proof-of-Reserve panel
  • Confirm-before-commit safeguard on every transaction, so a fat-fingered zero can't slip through
  • Opt-in Zakat calculator, split across the 8 Asnaf categories

Still ahead of us

  • Independent smart-contract and backend security audit
  • Shariah board review and sign-off, especially the Zakat and profit-sharing model
  • A licensed gold-vault custody and audit partner
  • Real KYC, payments, and gold-price oracle providers (today's build uses mocked versions of all three)
  • Regulatory and money-transmission review in each market we launch in. Primary launch is planned for Malaysia and Singapore, chosen for their Islamic-finance regulatory depth and digital-asset frameworks; other markets follow only once that core model is proven
